Richard Barnes

Richard Barnes has over 30 years of work experience in various project management roles. richard started their career at Telindus in 1997 as a Project Manager, where they managed multiple customer-facing projects and IT solutions. richard also ensured budget and profitability for all projects and followed best practice project methodologies. In 2011, they joined Jisc as an IT Project Manager, where they successfully delivered major projects such as the Janet6 and Aurora replacement fiber network. richard then progressed to become a Senior Project Manager and later the Head of Network Programs. Currently, they serve as the Head of Portfolio Delivery at Jisc.
