Richard Jackson

Richard Jackson has a diverse work experience in the field of security and engineering. Richard began their career as a Data Handler at Hewlett-Packard from October 2012 to June 2015. Richard then joined Eduserv in June 2015 as a Junior Network and Security Analyst - Intern, and later held roles as a Junior Network and Security Engineer, Security Operations Analyst, and Security Engineer. In January 2019, Richard moved to Jisc, where they started as a Security Engineer and progressed to roles as a Cloud Security Engineer, Lead Cloud Security Specialist, and currently serves as the Lead Cloud Solutions Architect - Security.

Richard Jackson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Computing and Security from the University of the West of England between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they pursued their studies in Computing at City Of Bristol College from 2010 to 2012. Richard also holds additional certifications such as the Practitioner Certificate in Cloud Security from APMG International (obtained year unspecified) and the AWS Certified Security - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (obtained in October 2020).
