Simon Cooper

Simon Cooper has extensive experience in the field of cyber security and identity services, currently serving as the Head of Security Services at Jisc since August 2012, focusing on managed cyber security services for UK tertiary education and research institutions. Prior roles at Jisc include Security Operations Manager, where Simon led the Janet CSIRT team, and Trust & Identity Services Group Manager, overseeing various trust and identity services. Earlier experience includes roles at JANET(UK) as Access and Identity Services Manager, and various positions at The JNT Association, Voltech Instruments Ltd, and Vodafone, where Simon honed skills in business analysis, marketing, and sales management. Simon holds degrees from the University of West London and Oxford Brookes University.
