Michaela Plotner

Michaela Plotner is currently serving as an Associate Designer at J. Jill, focusing on the Wearever sub-brand and overseeing knit and woven categories, including jackets, tops, bottoms, and dresses, as well as tailored suit sets for Wearever Works capsule collections since May 2023. Prior experience includes working at Kohl's as an Associate Designer for the Sonoma Women's brand, where responsibilities included designing woven tops and jackets while also mentoring the team and enhancing efficiency. Michaela's earlier roles at Kohl's included Assistant Designer for Young Women's brand SO and Women's brand Croft&Barrow, and an Apparel Design Internship at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Additionally, Michaela worked as a Fashion Stylist and Editor at South Magazine. Michaela holds an MBA from Colorado State University College of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, complemented by a high school degree in Visual Arts/Fashion from Savannah Arts Academy.
