JL Recruitment Group is an accounting and finance recruiting firm built by CPAs, for CPAs.

We specialize in connecting top-tier accounting talent with high-growth companies across Kansas City, Chicago, and beyond. From Big 4 public accountants ready to transition to industry, to experienced controllers, tax leaders, and financial analysts — we help employers cut through the noise and make the right hire, the first time.

What makes us different?

We speak the language. Our background in public accounting means we understand the roles, the resumes, and the red flags.

We focus on quality, not quotas. Every candidate is carefully vetted and presented with context — not just a resume.

We move fast without sacrificing fit. Whether you're replacing a key team member or building a new department, we make hiring easier.

Whether you're hiring or exploring your next move, we’re here to be a partner — not just a vendor.

Let's connect and talk about how we can help you build a stronger finance team.
