David Rea

David Rea has extensive experience in economic analysis and strategy, having served as Chief Economist at Jaguar Land Rover from February 2013 to June 2019, where responsibilities included strategic planning and leading Brexit initiatives. Prior roles included Resident Tutor at the University of Warwick, Economic Advisor at the Royal Bank of Scotland, and Senior Economist at the Bank of Sierra Leone, where contributions focused on economic forecasting and building research capacities. David also worked as Japan Economist at Capital Economics before assuming the role of Chief Economist EMEA and Global Director of Macro Research at JLL in July 2019. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Warwick, along with a Japanese language qualification from the Tokyo School of Japanese Language.
