Derek Mitchell

Derek Mitchell is a Critical Environments Manager at JLL, bringing nearly a decade of experience as a nuclear mechanic and supervisor from the United States Navy. Previously, Derek served as a Work Control Technician at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, where they managed safety procedures for maintenance aboard vessels. As a Nuclear Machinist Mate Supervisor, Derek oversaw engineering operations in a nuclear power plant and trained junior personnel. Derek also held positions as Operations Technician at Linde Americas and Operations Manager and Lead Engineer at CBRE. Currently, Derek is pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technologies at Excelsior College.
