Gaurav Sharma

Gaurav Sharma is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the real estate and investments sectors. Notably, Gaurav served as Vice President and Head of Investments at SAMHI from February 2012 to December 2022, where achievements included the acquisition of 25 hotel assets, leading banking and credit rating relationships, and raising approximately INR 45 billion in debt. Prior to this, Gaurav was the Capital Markets Head for North India at Jones Lang LaSalle, successfully raising over USD 500 million and advising on more than $2 billion in transactions. Currently, Gaurav holds the position of Vice President of Real Estate and Head of Asset Management and M&A at The Indian Hotels Company Limited, along with the role of Managing Director for Hotels India and Senior Director of Hotels Capital Markets Asia at JLL. Gaurav's educational qualifications include a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a Master's in Finance and Control from Delhi University.
