James Parkyn grew up in Adelaide, South Australia, and studied at Pembroke School before earning a Bachelor of Business Property from the University of South Australia. They began their professional career in September 2013 as an agency assistant at CBRE in Canberra, eventually becoming a Negotiator and then a Sales & Leasing Executive. Following a move to Adelaide in March 2018, James took on the role of Senior Executive in Office Leasing at JLL, where they specialized in CBD and Fringe markets. In 2022, James was promoted to Director of Office Leasing.
