Jun Asakura

Jun Asakura is the Co-Head of JLL Design Japan and a Representative of builtblox inc., a design consultation company emphasizing design consulting, management, and project strategy for architecture and city development. With 20 years of experience in architecture, design consulting, and project management in both Japan and the United States, Jun has been involved in a diverse range of projects, including commercial mixed-use facilities and large sports complexes. They previously led the Design Strategy Department at Taiyo Kogyo Corp. and served as Studio Director at Gensler, where they managed substantial design teams focusing on retail and community projects. Jun holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Engineering from Kanagawa University.
