Michael Wheat

Michael Wheat is a Managing Director at JLL, overseeing the North Texas retail group. Prior to this role, they served as Managing Director at Cypress Equities from 2008 to 2024, where they managed a portfolio of 10.5 million square feet. With over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Michael has held positions such as Senior Vice President at the Weitzman Group and Vice President at Trammell Crow Company, working with notable clients including OshKosh and Citibank. Michael earned their degree from The University of Kansas, where they studied from 1983 to 1989.
