Sahan Abeln

Sahan Abeln is the Head of Integrated Energy & EV Solutions at JLL, beginning in November 2021, focusing on reducing emissions in logistics and transportation through technology, business operations, and policy. Prior to JLL, Sahan held multiple roles at Shell from October 2001 to November 2021, including Business Development Manager, where leadership was demonstrated in the electrification of high-utilization fleets and development of strategies in connected mobility and autonomous transport. Experience also encompasses project delivery and optimization roles within Shell, managing substantial budgets and large teams, and significant expertise in chemistry through academic endeavors at institutions such as UCLA and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
