Simona D'Oca

Simona D'Oca is an accomplished professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Head of Sustainability for JLL in Italy from March 2022 to January 2024. In this role, Simona oversees the Sustainability area within the Project and Development Service Business Unit, focusing on Net Zero Carbon Audits, ESG Due Diligence, and international sustainability certifications. Prior to this, Simona was the Lead ESG & Sustainability for the Southern Cluster in EMEA, as well as a Sustainability Delivery Manager, handling various decarbonization strategies. Moreover, Simona has experience as Chief Innovation Officer at GridAbility, Guest Editor at Frontiers, and Visiting Professor at Hasselt University. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Technology Innovation for the Built Environment and a Master of Architecture from Politecnico di Torino, Simona boasts extensive expertise in EU-funded projects, achieving significant success in proposal writing and project management.
