Jim Arbeiter

Systems Engineer at John Moriarty & Associates

Jim Arbeiter has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jim started their career at David Sarnoff Research Center in 1978 as a MTS and worked there until 1990. Jim then founded NorthShore Laboratories and served as the CTO until 2000. In 2000, they became the CTO and Founder of LegatoVideo, where they worked until 2003. In 2004, they founded LifeStream Network and acted as the CTO and Founder for a year. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Harris Corporation as a Motion Imagery Scientist. During this time, they also served as the Subject Matter Expert for the Motion Imagery Standards Board under NGA and chaired the Interoperability Working Group. From 2005 to 2011, Jim Arbeiter was a Partner at Twelve Strand, where they evaluated new business opportunities and developed strategies for increasing operational value. In 2011, they joined WiSC Enterprises, LLC as a Systems Engineer, specializing in Motion Imagery. Finally, since 2013, they have been working as a Systems Engineer at John Moriarty & Associates.

Jim Arbeiter attended Bensalem High from 1969 to 1974 and obtained a high school degree. Jim then went on to Drexel University, where they studied from 1973 to 1978 and earned a BSEE in Electrical Engineering. Jim continued their education at Drexel University from 1978 to 1982 and completed an MSEE in Electrical Engineering.
