Daniel Morelli

FPGA Engineer at JMA Wireless

Daniel Morelli has a strong background in the field of engineering, particularly in ASIC design and SOC development. Daniel is currently working as an FPGA Engineer at JMA Wireless, starting in June 2020. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Director of SOC Development at Tactual Labs Co. Prior to that, they were the SVP of Engineering and Business Development at TrackingPoint from 2011 to 2015. Daniel also worked at Motorola for a significant period of time, holding the position of Director ASIC Mobile Device Platforms from 2005 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as an ASIC Design Manager at Marconi, NeoNetworks, and Telxon, with a focus on ARM-based packet forwarding engines and GE traffic management. Daniel'swork experience extends back to 1988, when they started as a Senior Engineer at Motorola GEG and later at Rockwell Collins.

Daniel Morelli earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on Digital Systems from The Ohio State University from 1984 to 1988. Daniel then pursued further studies at Arizona State University from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) specializing in Digital Communication. In 2003, Daniel attended the New York Institute of Technology and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General in 2005.
