Guillermo Ramirez

Guillermo Ramirez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Guillermo currently holds the position of Technical Education Systems Engineer at JMA Wireless since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at RG Wireless Solutions, where they specialized in wireless technologies and provided top-level consulting both domestically and internationally. Guillermo also had a role as the DAS & Wireless Director - CALA at CommScope from August 2013 to 2018, where they successfully developed the wireless business in Latin America. Before that, they served as the Wireless Regional Business Manager - CALA at TE Connectivity from March 2010 to August 2013. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at ADC, including Pre Sales Manager CALA and Senior Systems Engineer. Guillermo also worked as a Senior RF Design Engineer at Verizon Wireless, where they designed CDMA networks and introduced EV-DO technology. Additionally, they served as the Engineering and Operations Director at Velocom, where they led the design, deployment, and operation of wireless networks in Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. Lastly, they worked as a Sr. RF Engineer at Sprint.

Guillermo Ramirez obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics and Communications from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1983 and 1988. Guillermo later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and International Business at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2004 to 2009.
