Manas Engineer has a diverse range of work experience in the aerospace industry. Manas began their career as an MRO Intern at Air India Limited, where they learned and performed maintenance checks on landing gear and conducted non-destructive testing. Manas then worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where they gained exposure to various manufacturing operations and state-of-the-art technologies. Manas then joined the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) as a Research Intern, where they worked on computing numerical and CFD analysis to optimize space launch vehicle designs. After that, they worked at Mahindra Aerospace as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, where they optimized workforce productivity and managed non-conformity and inventory. Manas was later promoted to the role of Production Engineer, where they supervised production and planning for multiple aircraft projects and implemented various lean tools. Manas then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Syracuse University before joining Airbus as an Industrial Engineering Intern. In this role, they managed long-term projects and developed aircraft zoning and operating instructions, among other responsibilities. And in their most recent position at JMA Wireless, they serve as a Mechanical Process Engineer.
Manas Engineer pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Aeronautical Engineering from Hindustan University between the years 2015 and 2019. Subsequently, from 2021 to 2023, they attended Syracuse University to obtain a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
