Brett Joyce has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brett began their career as a High School Principal at Le Center Public Schools, where they implemented curriculum and testing procedures to improve student performance. Brett then joined Triton Public Schools as a High School Principal before becoming the Superintendent, leading the district with progressive changes. Brett also worked part-time as a Tennis Professional at Rochester Athletic Club, teaching all levels of players. In 2020, they established their own training and consulting company called Humanistic Technology Unlimited. Brett currently holds the position of Client Services Specialist at JMC Inc, having previously served as Head of Client Services.
Brett Joyce holds several degrees and certifications in the field of education. Brett obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Social Studies Education/Head Coaching from Bemidji State University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Brett then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Iowa from 1990 to 1993. Continuing their academic journey, Brett earned an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Administration from Winona State University, attending from 1995 to 1998.
Additionally, Brett Joyce has acquired certifications from the Minnesota Department of Education. Brett holds licenses as a Minnesota Superintendent, Principal, and Teacher, which were obtained in June 2021.
