Damien Drew

Damien Drew is an innovative and experienced general management and construction management professional with a diverse background in the railway sector. They have held prominent roles, including Works Management Lead at Sydney Trains, where they oversaw significant infrastructure projects totaling around A$600 million annually. Currently, as General Manager of Operations at JMDR, Damien manages the daily business operations of a specialist railway consultancy. They have previously held leadership positions at Blue Mountains City Council and Rail Infrastructure Corporation, managing extensive teams and significant budgets to deliver critical infrastructure services. Damien graduated with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney, and holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management with Distinction from Charles Sturt University.
