Emy Li

Emy Li is a Software Investor at JMI Equity, a growth equity firm focused on investing in leading software companies, since August 2024. Prior experience includes a role in the Systems Engineering - Space Engineering Research Center at the USC Information Sciences Institute, contributing to the CubeSat MAVERIC project from January to June 2024, and serving as a Student Researcher in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Southern California, focusing on graph theoretical analysis of atmospheric chemistry mechanisms from February 2023 to June 2024. Emy also worked as a Technology Analyst at Starburst Aerospace from May 2022 to May 2023 and as Program Manager for the Earth Summit at AI LA from December 2020 to April 2023, which convened leaders in climate technology to foster collaboration and innovation. Emy Li holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Economics from the University of Southern California and attended Phillips Exeter Academy.
