Michael Schmidt

Michael Schmidt is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in communications and marketing roles. Currently serving as a Senior Marketing Specialist at JMP since March 2022, Michael previously held positions such as Marketing Specialist and Communications Officer at Mission East from January 2013 to August 2021. An earlier stint as a Communications Intern at the World Diabetes Foundation in November 2011 involved pioneering a social media campaign for the Global Diabetes Walk, significantly enhancing global participation. Prior to these roles, Michael worked as a Tourist Guide at Netto-Bådene A/S from January 2008 to August 2011, leading canal boat tours in Copenhagen. Michael holds a Cand. Comm. degree in Communication and Cultural Encounters from Roskilde University, where studies took place from 2006 to 2011.
