Phil Kay

Phil Kay possesses a robust background in data analytics and technical consultation within scientific and engineering domains. Currently serving as Manager of Global Technical Enablement at JMP since January 2014, Phil has held multiple leadership roles, including Team Lead and Learning Manager, focusing on pre- and post-sales consultations and managing global onboarding programs for new hires. Prior to JMP, Phil's experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Post Doctoral R&D Chemist at FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants Limited, where expertise in statistical data analysis and process understanding was applied. Phil began the professional journey as a Student Chemist at Avecia, further developing a foundation in organic synthesis and analytical techniques. Academic credentials include a PhD in Microwave Chemistry and an MSc in Quantitative Methods for Science from the University of Edinburgh and Lancaster University, respectively.
