Gordon joined JMW in September 2001 as a trainee, qualified in 2003 and became a partner in 2009.

Gordon is a partner in JMW Solicitors’ catastrophic injury department, and a Special Ambassador for the Child Brain Injury Trust. Gordon has expertise in brain injury and amputation cases, with a particular interest in paediatric brain injury claims. Gordon regularly secures seven figure settlements on behalf of his clients. Recent examples include a settlement of £5m for a child who suffered a brain injury in a road traffic accident; £1.6m for a claimant who suffered an above the elbow amputation as a result of an accident at work; and £1.4m for a claimant who was deliberately knocked over by a motorist. A dedicated and passionate advocate for his clients, Gordon is fully engaged with ensuring that his client’s get the best possible treatment and rehabilitation as soon as possible so that they have every chance of making the best recovery possible. He also specialises in ensuring that injury victims of catastrophic accidents receive a quality standard of care for the remainder of their lives. He has links with several charitable organisations that focus on helping head and brain injury victims, such as the Child Brain Injury Trust and Headway.

Gordon was born in 1979. He attended Audenshaw High School and Clarendon College before graduating from MMU with a law degree in 2000. He completed his LPC in 2001 before starting a training contract at JMW on 1 October 2001. Gordon has been at JMW ever since.
