James joined JMW in August 2020 into the Restructuring and Insolvency Department, having previously trained and qualified at Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP.
James’ client base includes insolvency officeholders, lenders, company directors and corporates seeking restructuring advice and debt enforcement.
James has written several of articles which have been published in Corporate Rescue and Insolvency (Lexis).
James graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 degree in Politics in 2007 and spent a year aboard studying at the University of Uppsala and at the Försvarshögskolan in Stockholm. Following this, James achieved a distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law and a distinction on the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York and was awarded a first class Law degree.
