Laura Bailey

Laura joined JMW in July 2021 as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury Department. In September 2022, Laura started her training contract with JMW and her first seat as trainee is in the Business Crime and Regulatory Team.

Laura graduated from the University of Leeds in 2020 where she studied Law with French. This included a year abroad studying French Law at a university in Lyon. She then went on to do her LPC at the University of Law in Manchester, graduating in July 2021. She chose electives in Family Law, Criminal Law, Immigration Law and Wills and Trusts.

Laura previously undertook work experience at JMW, as well as at Addleshaw Goddard and a few other high street firms.

At university, Laura volunteered for Street Law and attended many sixth forms to discuss careers in the legal sector. She was also a tutor for the Tutor Trust and taught maths in under-privileged primary schools.
