Michael Kennedy

Michael has over 25 years' experience dealing with a wide range of commercial litigation disputes on behalf of a variety of companies, partnerships and individuals. He has particular expertise in relation to partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims and high value commercial disputes. The vast majority of Michael’s work is repeat business or referrals from existing clients, a number of whom Michael has acted for in excess of 20 years.

Michael graduated from Sheffield University with a Law Degree in 1987 and completed his LPC at Chester Law School in 1988. Michael was formerly a partner at Pannone LLP having taken his entire litigation team to that firm from Wacks Caller, where he had also been a partner for in excess of ten years. Following the acquisition of Pannone LLP by Slater and Gordon (UK) LLP, Michael moved to JMW together with members of his previous team.

Whilst Michael enjoys travel, good food and the occasional drink, the majority of his time outside the office is taken up with his sons’ extensive sporting activities. When he is not watching them playing football and cricket, he continues to suffer the pain of being a devoted follower of Everton FC.
