Sally Leonards

Sally Leonards is a partner in the JMW Clinical Negligence department and has 25 years’ experience in the field. She undertakes high-value clinical negligence work and has a particular interest and expertise in complex brain and spinal injury cases.

Sally has settled numerous multi-million-pound cerebral palsy cases for children with severe physical and learning disabilities due to maternity failures. Her last two settlements, the latest of which was in 2019, were for £25 million each.

Sally has been ranked as a 'Leading Individual’ in legal industry guides Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 for a number of years.

The 2021 edition of the Legal 500 describes her as outstanding and a superb example of a personable practitioner who readily commands the confidence of her disabled clients. Meanwhile, she was named as one of the best clinical negligence solicitors in the North West in the 2019 edition and was included in the 'Hall of Fame’.
