JOAPS Fabrics commenced operations in May 1996, specialising in the production and sale of both interior and exterior knitted and woven fabrics. The company benefits from a highly skilled and experienced team with deep expertise in the textile industry. In 2001, recognizing the need for strategic advancement, JOAPS implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the NP EN ISO 9001:2000 standard. This initiative not only enhanced internal processes but also improved the overall quality of products and services delivered to clients. During the same period, the company relocated to a modern industrial facility in Joane, within the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão—an area renowned for its strong textile heritage. Since its inception, JOAPS has consistently prioritised technological innovation, employee development, and the continuous analysis of market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
