At JOB-ABLED, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to work. Our platform connects young people with disabilities to meaningful job opportunities while helping businesses access skilled, vetted candidates.

Our Impact:

For many young South Africans with disabilities, finding employment isn't just about earning an income; it's about belonging, independence & opportunity. We exist to bridge this gap by matching motivated job seekers with forward-thinking employers who see ability, not limitations.

Our motto: Creating a bigger, better, brighter future for people with disabilities

What We Do:

- Connecting job seekers & employers: Our platform matches individuals with disabilities to suitable roles through skill-focused profiles.
- Learnership & skills development: We connect businesses with ideal candidates for workplace training programs.
- Job shadowing & work readiness: We facilitate workplace exposure opportunities, building confidence and practical experience for young people.
- Special projects: Our recycling and food security initiatives create meaningful community engagement for individuals with complex disabilities.

Real People, Real Change:

Dirk Coetzee, despite his severe intellectual disability, now works as a professional security guard at Basset North Guarding after completing PSIRA training.

Students like Liyakha Nkantini gain essential workplace experience through our work readiness programs, setting them on paths to employment.

As one partner shared: "It has been a great experience and makes all the difference!"
