Gil Syswerda

Gil Syswerda is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with a strong background in technology and innovation. Currently a member of the AI Innovators Community since April 2022 and a mentor at Harvard Innovation Labs since December 2022, Syswerda has been an investor at Jobcase, Inc. since January 2009. Previously, Syswerda contributed as a member of Walnut Venture Associates from March 2010 to October 2022, focusing on seed and early-stage investments in the New England area, particularly in information technology. Other notable roles include VP of Technology Research at Orbital Insight (September 2018 - February 2020), founder and CEO of FeatureX (September 2015 - September 2018), founder and CTO of Machine Insight (2002 - February 2016), and board member at LeaseQ (May 2012 - April 2015). Syswerda's investment experience includes involvement with Crocodoc and Incentive Targeting, Inc., both of which were acquired by major companies. Syswerda holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Michigan, obtained between 1985 and 1988.
