Jackson Wright

Jackson Wright is a Junior Software Engineer at JoeScan since April 2023, focusing on software engineering, optical sensor engineering, and laser scan design. Previously, Jackson interned as a Software Engineer at JoeScan, improving production workflows and developing software and database documentation for 3D scanners. Academic experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Student at Oregon State University, where research centered on the coexistence of WiFi and 5G devices, and leading a senior capstone project with PreAct Technologies to advance collision avoidance for autonomous mobile robots. Additional experience includes teaching machine learning and advanced Python concepts at iD Tech Camps. Jackson holds a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Oregon State University, completed in June 2023.
