João Ramos

João Ramos is a seasoned professional in systems architecture and project management with over a decade of experience in the defense industry. Currently serving as a System Architect at John Cockerill since December 2022, João previously held various pivotal roles at FN Herstal from December 2012 to November 2022, including RWS Applications Project Manager and Systems Architect, where responsibilities encompassed managing remote weapon system applications and leading multi-disciplinary teams. Additional experience includes software development consulting at Altran and hardware development at INOV INESC Inovação. João holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Polytechnic of Leiria and has also contributed to academia as an Assistant Teacher in microprocessors and digital systems.
