Jose Mares

Jose Mares is an experienced operations executive currently serving as the VP Chief Operations Officer for Korea and Construction and Special Projects Director for Spain at John Cockerill since April 2022. Prior to this, Jose Mares held the position of Global Head of Operations at Hamon Group from January 2021 to April 2022 and served as Senior Project Manager at CMI Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie from October 2011 to December 2020, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams and managing contract execution for EPCC projects in various industrial sectors. Jose Mares began a career in management at Celsa Group, overseeing plant operations and performance, and has accumulated significant knowledge in global supply chain and project management through education at prestigious institutions, including Esade and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
