Michael Kotas

Michael Kotas, F.IOD, currently serves as the Managing Director and CEO of John Cockerill India Limited, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Kotas was the General Manager at Cockerill Engineering Beijing from July 2021 to March 2023, following a tenure as Company Manager at CMI UVK - Group John Cockerill from April 2018 to April 2021. Kotas has also held key leadership positions at Danieli Germany GmbH as Executive Vice President, and Danieli Fröhling as Managing Director and Project Director. Prior experience includes roles at ArcelorMittal in Global Capex Procurement and as a Global Buyer, as well as a Sales Coordinator position at Sidstahl. Kotas holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School and Mannheim Business School, along with a Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Administration from HSB Hochschule Bremen.
