Devadeep Shyam

Devadeep Shyam has work experience as a Lead Data Scientist at John Crane, where they are responsible for algorithm development and maintenance of analytics platform for IIOT products. Devadeep also collaborates with various teams to define product roadmaps. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Smiths Detection, implementing AI ML solutions in domains such as Aviation, Ports & Borders, Defense, and Urban Security. Devadeep has experience with technologies like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and AWS Cloud. Devadeep also worked as an AI Scientist at Vulcan-AI, developing a cloud detection algorithm for satellite imagery. Devadeep conducted research in deep learning for remote sensing purposes. Before that, they held various roles at Nanyang Technological University, including Project Manager in Artificial Intelligence, working on projects related to abandoned object detection, visual object search, and face identification and verification software. Devadeep also has experience working as an Information System Officer at Indian Oil Corporation Limited and has completed internships at Chung-Ang University and Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.

Devadeep Shyam pursued higher education and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, they enrolled at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and completed a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, between 2013 and 2015.
