William Loving

William Loving is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in field service and mechanical engineering, specializing in gas turbines and dry gas seals. Currently serving as a Senior Field Service Engineer at John Crane Inc. since October 2019, William oversees the removal, installation, and troubleshooting of Type 28 Dry Gas Seals, supporting both U.S. and international clients, including major companies such as BP/Arco and Chevron. Prior to this role, William worked at John Crane Inc. as a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, and held positions at Think Resources, GE, and Alstom Group, where responsibilities included managing teams, conducting on-site installations and retrofits, and recruiting engineers. William's foundational experience stems from service in the U.S. Navy as a Gas Turbine Systems Technician from 1982 to 1993.
