Ben Schlichting

Ben Schlichting has a diverse background in supply management and electrical contracting. Starting as an Electrical Apprentice at RGS Electric Contracting from April 2006 to June 2012, Ben developed expertise in general contracting and cost evaluation of blueprints. Transitioning to John Deere in January 2023, Ben held various roles including Core Competency Lead, where leadership in supply management initiatives was emphasized, and Supply Management Manager, responsible for $245M spend management. Prior roles involved improving supplier performance, managing indirect spend across multiple locations, and leading cost reduction initiatives. Ben obtained an M.B.A. from St. Ambrose University in 2018 and a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Western Illinois University in 2012.
