Edward Olson

Edward Olson is an accomplished GNSS Hardware Architect at John Deere, where responsibilities include engineering robust hardware solutions for the StarFire Navigation System. With extensive experience in the GNSS/GPS field, Edward has also served as President of SiliconSky GPS, Inc., a firm specializing in GNSS/GPS product design and consulting. Prior roles include senior engineering positions at Broadcom, where contributions helped develop a high sensitivity GPS chipset for Apple devices, and Magellan GPS, where Edward managed the development of innovative GPS products. Edward's career began at Trimble Navigation, focusing on pioneering GPS receiver designs. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman.
