Eric Heien

Eric Heien is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in data engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Data Engineering Manager at John Deere since November 2019, Eric previously held the role of Principal Software Engineer. Eric's career includes significant contributions at Orbital Insight as Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager, where responsibilities encompassed developing scalable microservices infrastructure and lead software development for agricultural data products. Earlier positions include Software Engineer at GET IT Mobile Inc. and Lead Programmer on the Computational Infrastructure for Geodynamics project at UC Davis, showcasing expertise in full-stack development and programming.
