Eric Horn

Eric Horn is a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at John Deere, where they lead the development of integrating the Vehicle Telematics Platform into a Docker container to achieve hardware agnosticism. They have collaborated with external companies to coordinate system requirements for creating a fully functional embedded solution. Previously, Eric held roles at Trimble Transportation and Innovative Software Engineering, where they specialized in embedded systems, developed industry-standard protocols, and mentored junior engineers. They also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa and conducted undergraduate research focused on motion simulation. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa.
