Kent Wanner

Kent Wanner is a Principal Electrification Engineer and Electrification Engineering Fellow at John Deere, leveraging over 27 years of experience in designing and applying electronics for ruggedized vehicle applications, with a focus on vehicle electrification. They began their career at Phoenix International, where they held various roles from Electronic Design Engineer to Technical Manager until 2015. From 2016 to 2020, Wanner served as a Sr. Staff Power Electronics Engineer at John Deere Electronic Solutions, followed by a position as a Sr. Staff Electrification Applications Engineer at John Deere from 2020 to 2024. Wanner earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Dakota State University, completing their studies in 1996.
