Steve Dobrot is an experienced engineering professional with over three decades in the industry. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Riding Lawn Equipment at John Deere since May 2016, Steve previously held the role of Engineering Manager for Commercial Mowing Products and worked as a Design Engineer focusing on Utility Vehicles at John Deere from 1998 to 2016. Before joining John Deere, Steve spent nearly eleven years at General Motors, where responsibilities included serving as an Analysis Engineer for GM Powertrain specializing in finite element analysis of V6 engines and as a Design Engineer on the Corvette. Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned in 1987.
