Amber Walker

Amber Walker is an experienced analytics engineer and data scientist currently working at johnnie-O since February 2025. Previous roles include a freelance data scientist at Sandcat IT, where a predictive model pipeline was designed using Python and XGBoost, achieving a strong predictive accuracy. From August 2021 to September 2023, Amber served as a project coordinator at AVRL, overseeing automation software deployments and database management on major cloud platforms to enhance client operations. Earlier experience includes a digital internship at You Squared Media and a long tenure as a bartender/server at BJ's Restaurants. Amber holds a Master of Science in Data Science Methodology from the Barcelona School of Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
