Billy Atchison

Billy Atchison is an experienced sales professional and business leader with a diverse background in territory sales management and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Territory Sales Manager for Fire Alarm & Life Safety Products at Johnson Controls since January 2024, Atchison has previously held roles such as President of The Southern Maple, a Japanese Maple tree nursery, and Territory Sales Manager at Southland Transportation Group, focusing on school bus sales in Alabama. From April 2008 to November 2021, Atchison managed North Alabama operations at Sunbelt Fire, providing essential products and services to the fire service. Earlier career achievements include serving as Sales Manager at Barnhart Crane & Rigging, where key projects included significant engineering feats and receiving the Rigging Job of the Year Award. Atchison also contributed to professional development as Campus Director at Campus Outreach, training over 1,000 college students. An alumnus of Troy University, Atchison holds a BS in Business/Marketing.
