Christopher Engel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in robotic process automation and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Global Discovery Lead for Automation at Johnson Controls since January 2003. Engel has successfully consulted across business units on RPA and AI technologies, leading the discovery of over 300 automation use cases that generated annual benefits exceeding $6 million. Responsibilities include managing a global team, overseeing the introduction of intelligent document processing for vendor invoicing, and guiding the development of automation products as a member of the UiPath Product Advisory Board. Engel also founded and manages the Global Automation Center of Excellence, where enterprise-wide automation efforts are operationalized. Prior to Johnson Controls, expertise was gained as a Senior Project Manager at Keane Incorporated and in various IT and project management roles. Engel holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
