Ed Winter has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, currently serving as the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for PCBA at Johnson Controls since February 2016. Previously, Ed was the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Motorola Mobility/Lenovo Mobile Business Group from August 1989 to January 2016, overseeing the New Product Introduction Factory and managing teams of engineers and technicians. Ed's earlier roles included positions as a Software Engineer and various manufacturing engineer roles, where significant contributions included capacity expansion and eco-friendly initiatives in SMT processes. Ed holds a Master of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
