John Allen is a highly experienced fire protection engineer with a strong background in fire suppression design and engineering. John Allen has held various positions at Johnson Controls since March 2023, including National Estimating Coordinator and Central Region Sprinkler Design Manager, as well as serving as a Fire Protection Engineer. Prior experience includes roles at F.E. Moran Fire Protection as a Fire Suppression Designer, and at Tyco SimplexGrinnell, where John Allen designed fire protection systems, including clean agent systems. John Allen began a career in fire sprinkler design at Fire Sprinkler Design & Consulting from 2000 to 2007 and also worked as a CAD Designer earlier in career. John Allen holds an Associate's degree in Mechanical Drafting Technology from Triangle Tech Inc-Erie, completed in 1990.
