Joseph Hogan serves as the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Johnson Controls since September 2016, overseeing legal affairs for a $2.1 billion global developer in building automation and security systems. Hogan previously held the position of Chief Counsel for both Johnson Controls’ Global Security Products and Fire Detection Products businesses and was the Chief Counsel for Tyco Security Products. With extensive legal experience, Hogan also worked as Vice President and General Counsel at Anthill Technologies, Senior Counsel at HP and Compaq Computer Corporation, and as a Junior Partner at Hale and Dorr LLP. Hogan holds a JD from Boston College Law School and a BA from Lafayette College.
