Michael Kinney

Michael Kinney is a seasoned financial leader with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Currently serving as the Financial Controller for NA Buildings Solutions at Johnson Controls, they manage a team of 30 professionals, focusing on financial strategy, forecasting, and reporting for a $9 billion segment. Michael has previously held various significant roles within Johnson Controls, including Executive Director of FP&A and Director of Operational Finance, where they demonstrated exceptional analytical skills and leadership in financial reporting and operational improvements. They began their career as an Audit Manager at PwC and hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
