Michael Parker has over three decades of experience in engineering and project development, currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Project Development for the Federal Government at Johnson Controls since April 1995. Parker initiated a successful career at Johnson Controls by leading the boiler plant decentralization Energy Savings Performance Contract at Los Alamos National Laboratory, subsequently developing numerous high-profile ESPCs that established the company as a leader in the federal market. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Fletcher Thompson, Inc., where Parker was the principal HVAC designer for naval training facilities, and at Savage Engineering, Inc., focusing on maximizing federal funding for research in various universities and hospitals. Parker holds an MBA in Management from the UNM Anderson School of Management and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
